Built from courage. Both of ours.
The Courage Society was born from a brain bleed that changed everything. But it was also born from something else — watching Shivani, 39 weeks pregnant, face the possibility of raising our child alone while I lay in a hospital bed.
She didn't flinch. She showed up every day, carried our baby, and held our family together with a quiet strength that I will never stop being in awe of.
Courage isn't always dramatic. Sometimes it's a woman at 39 weeks pregnant, sitting beside a hospital bed, choosing to be strong when everything is uncertain.
This is for her. And for everyone who has ever had to be brave when they didn't feel ready.
